Well I'm here to enlighten you all!
The good:
- His emphasis on economic recovery, tax reduction, and support for small businesses.
- His promises to revitalize infrastructure and bring back manufacturing jobs.
- His commitment to enhancing national security and supporting law enforcement.
- His strong stance against crime and illegal immigration.
- His focus on patriotism and national pride.
- His calls for national unity and healing.
The Bad:
- His overall tone was better but still combative sometimes which may turn voters away.
- I would prefer less attacking the opposition (Biden administration) and more promoting his vision for the future.
- His speech lacked an emphasis on inclusivity and addressing issues important to minority communities.
- He pumped his own tires too much.
- It was far too long of a speech for me. He should have kept it under 45 mins.
Overall, I thought his speech was slightly above average.
(Below is for those who can't see why anyone would like Trump)
I completely understand why people don't like Trump. He's outspoken, harsh, rude, and arrogant to say the least. But, here's why many people do like him.
His Experience - Trump has a long history as a businessman and real estate developer. This experience in business helps him understand economic issues and promotes pro-business policies.
His Deal-Making - He's known for his ability to negotiate and make deals, Trump has leveraged this skill in both his business career and now in his political dealings.
He's Action Oriented - His approach to swiftly implementing policies and taking action on his promises is appreciated by those who are tired of governments who are all talk and no action.
His Economic Policies - Trump has implementing policies that reduced taxes and deregulated industries, which many supporters believe spurred economic growth and reduced unemployment rates during his tenure.
His Directness - While many on the left hate it, Trump’s communication style is direct and unfiltered, which many find refreshing compared to typical political rhetoric.
His Handling of Adversity - Despite facing numerous controversies, lawsuits, and challenges, Trump has shown resilience and an ability to bounce back from setbacks. This is something great leaders are good at.
His Tenacity - His persistent nature and determination to pursue his goals, regardless of obstacles, are qualities admired by his supporters.
His Public Presence - Trump’s charismatic presence, showmanship, and confidence are key qualities to have when dealing with leaders from other countries.
Hopefully this has enlighten you all and gives you a little perspective from the other side.
