While Makar could be a pipe dream it is also within reason as he lives here in the offseason and when his contract is up the Flames should be a team on the upswing when the Avs could be that aging team on the downside

I'm not a rumor guy but it's the dog days so take it with however much salt you'd like, but I worked with a guy who played professionally in Europe and is friends with a lot of NHL players and told me some pretty funny stories about guys on the team and in the system the past few years (said Dube was an all time blockhead when he drank, which I think is common knowledge). In addition to telling me what the real situation with kylington was, he said Wolf is a genuine hockey JUNKIE and also claimed that Makar wants to come home as a UFA. I don't know how much stock I put into it, but we can dream I suppose....
