Also, there are limits to where you can carry in certain states. You would not be able to take a firearm into a night club. In some states, I don't think you are allowed to carry into any place that serves alcohol.

Utah has 59,000 CCW permits and at 40 per quarter revoked that's 0.0027% per year.

To me, it's easy to understand why the revocation rates are low. These people go through background checks, courses, payments to the state for the license as well as fingerprints by the department of homeland security. Most people who will go through all this are more or less responsible people.
It's actually 0.27%. Still a small number, but 100 times higher than your original statement.
