Something I haven't seen discussed regarding the failure of the secret service is a discussion of just how large the detail is for Trump. It's important to remember that he is not currently president and so I doubt he is being protected as thoroughly as Biden. I'm sure being both a candidate and a former president gets him a pretty decent team but I just wonder what the difference in manpower and logistical planning there is. Its not like Jimmy Carter has had sniper teams covering him as he built houses the last 40 years.
