I don't know if it's irony or not, but the New York Times endorsed his book saying it was one of the most important books to read if you want to understand how the MAGA movement happened. So maybe that statement says as much about himself as it does how he thinks about Trump. Maybe he doesn't think being compared to Hitler is a bad thing.
