I'm curious as to what you propose to do to protect your family from a terrorist on a plane.
Do you want to bring some sort of weapon to be able to do this?
I can see it now:
Airport Security: "Excuse me sir what is that in your bag"
Worth: "It's a gun to protect my family in case of a terrorist attack"
AS: "Oh, sorry, my mistake, go ahead"
W:"Thanks"
AS: "And you sir, what is in your bag"
