Teams don’t double the prices when they are contenders either.
Prices are determined by supply and demand.
If lowering prices would eventually pay off with increased future revenues, teams would do that.
I expect it wouldn’t. Or at least not enough to compensate for the initial loss revenue. There are expects that determine this.
