You're going out of your way to put a bad product on the ice, and yet your not reducing ticket prices or feed prices, we're getting charged full gravy for a product that's meant to be bad.
It's being done to give the fans a chance at a championship though.

I think Conroy has done a good job at sprinkling in the exciting parts (young new talent) while setting a ceiling on upside by not spending like a fool in free agency or committing to older players who haven't won.

I think the cheating of the fans was deficit spending and overpaying in free agency, because that's not how you build a winning team in the NHL.

A rebuild is also a great opportunity to rebuild your brand and start to rebuild fan interest

I don’t expect any of that , but it would be prudent
I think doing things like spending on a new jumbotron help on this front. They're doing things around the ice to try and provide value.
