Holloway is easily worth a 2nd round pick. And it wouldn't cost anywhere near $4M - IIRC, the range for a 2nd round pick as comp was $2.9M - $4.5M

And you could also offer $1.5ish, as the comp would be zero.

I am all for it, because the Oilers are in a pickle. Would they match? Very likely. Would it piss them off? 100% Can they get back at us? Maybe one day, but remember, a player has to sign the offer sheet - they can't simply just throw one at us in a hissy fit.

Are offer sheets a good idea, or a good way to conduct business? Generally, no, not at all. But if there was ever a time that it made sense, this is it.
