The thing is- if taken as intended there are few ill effects.

It's like when they brought out chips made with Elestra oil. Yes, they taste just like normal chips but have no fat. Once again, the fat in them just passes through your body. If you eat the recommended amount, you won't notice anything aside from slightly softer stool. But if you snarf back an entire can of Pringles, be sure to have 2 copies of Reaer's Digest handy.

The site recommends cutting fat back to 15 grams per day. And the site mentions using that fear of a "treatment effect" to help your will power.

That's great that you don't have an issue with weight. There's no need to be smug about it though. Some people do all sorts of things and the pounds just stick around.
