Everyone needs to listen to Steinberg and Wes' segment on the Kylington situation from the last hour. Basically there was a team with a 4 year deal on the table, prior to free agency, (yes yes tampering etc everyone knows it happens) that Kylington camp brought to Flames and wanted them to match, which Flames refused. This situation led to hurt feelings on both sides.
Then when July 1st hit that team Kylington had a deal with, had a different guy fall in their lap via "trade or signing" that they previously didn't expect to, (reading between the lines - probably Sergachev or Montour) and that left Kylington with nothing.
