Ugh. Disaster of a season continues to roll along. Love that Schneider still hasn’t learned anything and continues to make terrible lineup and in game decisions. At this point the entire coaching and management team have to figure they are done. Sooner rather than later for me. Just hope they don’t use injuries as an excuse.

No idea what to do with roster. Regular position players are weak and too many guys with no position. I have long worried that Bo’s hitting would rapidly decline just because of his style of swing and the torque he needs to generate in order to hit the ball hard. Figured his back would not hold up. But, I figured it would come after he inked a long term deal and was in his early 30’s. He is legitimately one of the weakest hitters in the game over the past 100-120 games. Slow swings (below league average) and exit velocity. Slump? Fixable? Or a giant red flag? He’s not even showing signs of working his way out of it. Huge issue for the Jays.

Jays legitimately need to solve two outfield positions, shortstop, second and DH for next year. Unless they tear down and then who cares.

Joys of being a fan.
