Edmonton fans are assuming everything will go right that did this year ++ everything will go right in new additions ++ everything that went wrong for other teams will remain constant.
That simply never happens for any sports team.
Some players will regress, the PK definitely will.
Skinner might regress, might improve?
McDrai might be slightly past their peaks, even if still very good.
Even if Edmonton is exactly the same, Vancouver not having Demko, Boeser and Petterson sucking all playoffs won't be the same.
Colorado having Nichuskin drama mid playoffs won't happen; Dallas might improve, as well as other teams.
Edmonton had the perfect combo of everything right for them, lots wrong for others. It's so delusional to think it's just going to run back like that.
