Free agency "wins" rarely pan out how people think.
Look at how big of a deal Tavares to Toronto was made out to be, and how little it actually moved the needle in terms of their team success. The oilers adds are minor in comparison. I like Arvidsson though.
There were a few down years from teams in the west, including Vegas and Colorado. I expect that they'll be back with a vengeance. Nashville did improve up front which could make them a threat for a year or two. I don't have as much faith in VAN as others but they could come back with a strong follow up.
No matter how stacked a team looks a lot still has to go right and that's never guaranteed.
