Any communications, really. I remember when Canada 3000 went out of business and stranded a bunch of travellers here there and everywhere. Everyone was freaking out that the government didn't warn travellers the company was on the brink. Well, if they did that it would pushed them over guaranteed.
What about when Future Shop just closed their doors one day never to reopen? They communicated nothing ahead of time. Because you can't.
It really is communications 101, so I don't know why people are flapping around over this. Pretend all is well until it isn't. There isn't a better strategy lol.
