The Dems have to realize that the media is going to be relentless with Biden until the election is over, or until he is out. Every slip up, every half gaffe, every time he looks like he should be in bed, they will be on it. And yeah, I know, they will give Trump a pass for all the same things, but fair or not that is the way it's going to be. If the Dems had the ruthlessness of the Repubs they would be going to Biden and threatening to 25th him if he doesn't withdraw. But they're Charmin soft and would rather go out on their "we did the right thing/respected decorum/whatever else helps them sleep at night" swords.
