You don’t think the Calgary Flames prefer Parekh to learn the defensive side of the game? I guarantee that they do. Evan Bouchard is completely lost in his own zone, is that ideal? Of course it isn’t. You’d prefer an all situations guy over a pure offensive guy if you had a choice
