Let me be fair to Brzustewicz as well - I didn’t come away from this viewing thinking he wasn’t gonna be an NHL defenseman in the next year or two.
He has good size and reach, moves well, and will get stronger as he fills out.
Parekh only outscored Brzustewicz by four points, so I was genuinely curious to see them side by side.
Now, take this with an entire box of coarse sea salt, because it’s just one practice with a bunch of players and coaches that have never skated together.
But if I went in hoping we have two offensive Terminators on the blue line, my first impression is that we have one T-1000 and one Michael Biehn Kyle Reese.
Make of that what you will.
