Puck-moving defencemen are difficult to acquire and I think it follows more of Colorado’s model to have multiple offensively-skilled defencemen in the line up. Not saying all 3 of those guys will turn out to be as good as Makar or Toews but having so many in the prospect system is the best chance of having one or two of them work out.

I wouldn't rule out Morin just because he had a so-so D+1 year.
