He’s going to want a long term deal. If he wants a 2 year extension cool. Otherwise he has to be traded.
We can’t hand out long term big money deals to players in their 30s anymore.
We are going to have to eventually start paying the players we draft as well. We can’t just spend our cap space because we have it. Brad did that and we lost some players.
We want to retain our young player in their prime. Not sign bridge deals.
