I think it's an okay deal for TOR. They leverage what they have a lot of which is money, so they can save on the caphit for the next 2-3 years. Tanev would be a pretty good partner for either Liljegren, or Rielly. Playing Tanev on the 1st pairing will be a lot of wear and tear, and far from ideal for his body, but I'm sure that he will still be effective.

Hope you have a great ending to your career Chris, you were the easiest guy to cheer for playing for the Flames.
