Took my whole family for the game last night - first time as a whole crew now that my youngest is old enough to make it through most of the game.

I've been going to games for 30+ years:
-it's not perfect, but it's pretty clear that the team is trying really hard to improve the game day experience (like the pre-game event in the south field)
-we sat in the family section in section L - I'm totally on board with the cheap seats being high up and on the end, but, the stairs to get up there are about double the size of normal stairs. Really hard for a 4 year old to walk up and down
-the sound system is brutal -it's loud and unclear at the north end...would hate to see what it's like at the south end
-a 20,000 person crowd is full of real fans that are into the game, cheering/getting loud at the right time. Still a great atmosphere. And on a night like last night? Not much better on a summer evening in Calgary
-the lower attendance makes the concourse so much more pleasant to navigate. Makes me more likely to come back
-I've been thinking this for years, but DD's brand of football is SO BORING. Seems like they never have a true game breaker, star returner, or sack master to get people both into and out of their seats
