What did the flames do that is different from any other organization? Sure I guess there are some potentially ####ty organizations that wouldn’t support mental health but I’d guess most teams would’ve done the same. Do they really deserve so much good will? Is the expectation other teams would’ve cancelled his contract or something?
In that respect, what does Kyllington owe the flames? Let him leave. Cheer him, boo him. At that point he’s just another ex flame. And if he re-signs, great. I always liked him as a player.
