I also saw smart plays, good gap control, and good communication in his own zone to let players where they needed to be. The only goal scored against while he was on the ice was a breakdown caused by his partner blowing coverage and Parekh being left in an odd man situation low where the offense made a good play. Four goals scored against Saginaw and only one while Parekh was on the ice. Worst performance in a generation by any player that has ever put on skates!

Turnover in the first where any competent opponent would have scored, passes into skates, shots into shin pads including several on a 5-on-3, generally on the wrong end of physical altercations. The goal against was a good playby the opponent but he bit on a pretty predictable move IMO. He did have one nice 3-on-2 that he joined and made into a dangerous chance, but then killed it with a pass into the skates of the opponent.
This guy didn’t put up 96 points by mistake, he’s clearly got some transcendent talent, but it’s not obvious at all in this game. I expect it’s just a one off.
