That is correct, and it was a fairly organized movement to throw their support behind Biden. I remember some of the organizers saying things along the line that only an older white man can beat Trump in this country.

I do think that replacing Harris with a white woman would not be well received. Especially since they'd need to cast Harris out of the VP role as I can't see anyone thinking an all female ticket is a good strategy.

With all the Democrat voices throwing Biden under the bus last night, I don't see how he can possibly continue.
