Had this same sentiment reading through the thread. Maybe this is just human nature for some middle-aged people or something, but having a bigger primary screen surface or whatever leaves me totally unmoved. The only part about the
new current jumbotron that makes me happy is when I see a rendering of the old-style "8 bit" cowboy shouting Yahoo! after a goal.
In a world where retro can be cool, I'd honestly have no problem if the OG still hung from the rafters. Objectively my opinion is kind of rediculous and of course technology moves on, younger fans have no nostalgia for the '80s like I do, etc. etc. but yeah the jumbotron is not part of the fan experience I have any issue with.
