If you are in marketing, you probably know that this was actually done because someone wanted it to be “more dramatic” or “flashier” and misleading people about the size never actually crossed anyone’s mind. The only real point of reference, which is the circle top, stays the same size, and they have all the numbers. Who do you think they are trying to mislead and for what purpose?
If you are in marketing, and your first assumption was that this was done to mislead people… I don’t know man, maybe you’re doing the wrong kind of marketing lol.
