No offense intended, but when I go to a concert, I go to see the band, and nothing else. I couldn't give a **** what everyone in the crowd is doing, unless it's somehow preventing me from seeing/hearing/enjoying the show.
Granted, I typically don't go to shows with mosh-pits (though sometimes I do). If getting knocked around and knocking others around enhances your experience, then I guess I can understand why you'd be chapped. But as I said, I go to see artists/bands with the sole purpose of watching them.
I suppose lots of bands need an energetic crowd to give a convincing performance, and I see your point in that regard.
