Say what we want about Flames' ownership, but it was such a breath of fresh air to see them take a chance with Treliving, then Conroy, at the helm.
Don't really feel one way or another about this. Always though Holland was great pre-cap era, but 100% lucked out by landing a gig with McDavid and Draisaitl on the roster that can drag a club on their own. Maybe he think he can do the same on the Hawks.

Guess if the progressive young gm’s won any cups they’d probably be in higher demand.
