I like Dickinson's toolbox. A good skater/ puck distributor with D first tendencies and a cannon of a shot. By all account in excellent physical condition, coming up from a program that promotes excellence.

Because IMO - there's a player like this in every draft year.

IMO- either draft in hopes a player turns into a true #1 - Makar, Fox, Q/L Hughes, Dahlin etc or just dont bother and take one of the high ceiling forwards.
NHL GM's love taking these "high floor" Dmen that over the long haul - aren't terrible but when your team doesn't have high end talent- I would rather not make those picks.
So pick Buium or Parekh ... or pick a forward - Catton/Helenius.
