I saw the photo of the top three in the Ekblad draft with the board behind them in the cup final thread and it included players in the top 10 who, to be kind, didn't go on to fulfill their potential. Yet there were players later in the round who were absolute studs (Pastrnak).
Drafting and development (with a little luck) are so critical; high picks give you a better selection but the organization's talent spotters and development staff are how you win through the draft.
Captain Obvious over here. Pretty excited to see what happens over the next few days.
