Just for the moment, because of what you have said just lately, I'm going to take your ‘Are you OK?’ at face value. I honestly thought it was sarcasm, and I don't think I can be much blamed for that.
I do not talk about my personal life here, because I want to keep it entirely separate from CP. But I will share just one of several major issues:
I am slowly going blind. Two of the best specialists in the city are mystified by it, and they can't think of anything to stop it – though they are trying to slow it down. (One of them said he could count on his fingers the number of similar cases he has seen in his career.) I've already had to give up driving, and I dread what may come next.
This is the kind of stuff I am trying to escape from by enjoying hockey and discussions about hockey. When posters get nasty and spoil the escape, I let my accumulated frustration get the better of me. To all of you bystanders who have had to scroll through this stuff, I apologize for my bad temper.
