Feeling still like Eatbred could move, though retention most likely needed. Not a lot of interest currently, feels like it’s more of a July 1st idea when people start missing on UFA’s.

Flames will look to add a 3rd string goalie, preferably one with NHL experience. Copley seems to be at the top of their list.

Flames are actively trying to move up from 28th and willing to spend depending on how high they can get. Would like to get into the 11-15 range but feel there’s a really good shelf all the way up to 20. Sounds like this is a high priority as they feel after about 20-25 it’s going to be wide open.

Has heard Frosts name come up, but no further details. This one’s all Diss for now, I’ve asked to be kept posted if anything substantial comes up.

Expects Calgary to be in on a number of veteran defenseman, though Craig won’t overpay. Flames were high on Skjei but feel the market will drive up his price too much. Don’t expect Tanev back, Flames won’t offer the term he’s looking for.

Busy week for the Flames, teams are very active now. Feeling is this could be the busiest draft in terms of movement, Gary might have some serious podium time this year. Lots of teams looking to start contending and willing to move their mid round picks for immediate help if the price is right.
Would have to think mangiapane would be in this range. Surprised with what you said earlier. To your point, retention could help.

I was speaking to this about a week ago but if the Flames are interested in Debrusk, moving Mangiapane for a pick or two makes all the sense in the world to me.
