Someone shared an Oiler fans facebook post with me this morning:
"McDavid respects the Panthers by allowing them their celebration and getting his Conn Smythe behind the scenes and Panther fans still whine... Show some class Panther fans like McDavid did for your team"
Yeah, that's what he was doing. I haven't seen anything from McDavid that shows humility. He is full of sour grapes and he proved it again.
Normally I'd be disappointed and move on but McDavid is supposed to be the ambassador for the game and the guy the NHL is looking upon to be the leader. That was setting a poor example. He's leading in the wrong direction with that move.
