I have fond memories of 2006 watching Carolina beat Edmonton in the middle of the night in South Africa over Slingbox.

Tonight I find myself in Canada (Niagara region) and I'm grateful once again to see the Oilers lose because I'm not sure I would be able to stand the next week or so I'm in the country otherwise.

I love that Matty Tkachuk shouted out fans in Calgary. When he got traded I randomly DMed him my best wishes and hoped he'd win someday in Florida alongside Benny and Lomberg. Obviously this was right after Edmonton eliminated the Flames, so it's poetic it came true against the Oilers.
