He led his OHL team to the championship. Despite being a defenseman, he had over 20 more points than the next highest scorer on his team. Then he won the Memorial Cup playing 25-30 minutes per night. Seems like he may have contributed to that.
Under Byron's model, his closest comparable is Bobby Orr. His model goes back around 30 years, but that had to go further for Parekh.
