Warographics with an optimistic look on the future of Ukrainian air force. Total number of F-16:s promised is now 90+, which is a pretty serious amount, even though it will take time for all of them to arrive. Still, some dozens should already arrive before the end of the year, and the first ones should arrive during the summer along with the first trained pilots. On top of that, Sweden is sending them to Saab 340 AWACS, which are a great addition... if they don't get shot down.
France is also donating an unspecified number of Mirages along with pilot training (they don't have F-16:s to donate).
Pilot training is the real bottleneck at this point.
While it will still take time for these to make an impact, the fact that countries keep making new longterm and significant military aid commitments is of course extremely important.

Anders Puck Nielsen with a critical view of US:s Ukraine policy, essentially saying that it doesn't look very realistic to achieve, and that their idea of "escalation management" isn't very logical or fact based.
In short, US basically doesn't want either side to completely win the war, as they fear that a Russian victory would lead to a new war, but a total Russian loss could lead to a Russia collapsing as a state. So the US ideal solution would be the right kind of peace deal, the kind of a deal neither side is even a little bit interested in at the moment.
