Trying to ignore my oilers hate and take an objective view of the grease in the playoffs so that so this doesn't ruin my whole weekend. Each oilers win has put me in the most angry mood ever, so trying to avoid that unhealthiness.
In the past five plus years they were incredible offensively, but joke level defense and poor goaltending. Just a laughing stock, and deservedly so.
The offense is still there, but now they are getting adequate goaltending and somehow, somehow are playing structured defense. That's why they are where they are.
