That was Spaletti being a bit arrogant.
He was talking yesterday about how they couldn't change their game against Spain, and needed to play their game, etc.
Which he isn't completely wrong.
But playing a 4-3-3 with this roster against Spain was always going to leave them stretched in the middle of the field and without cover and pace on the wings (especially with Chiesa and Pellegrini as your attacking wingers).
