Tanev and Markstrom being the shining examples. Signed the same off-season with valid concerns about how those deals would age. Both aged well to the point valuable assets were acquired near the end.
Lindholm also a Tree acqusition. The dividends of that trade continue to pay off.
Zadorov another signing - got them a good player for a few seasons and assets at the end.

The Lindholm and Hanifin trade tree includes sending out a 1st and 2 2nds. It was still a good trade.
Zadorov also cost a draft pick.
Only players Conroy traded that didn't involve Treliving sending out picks Markstrom and Tanev.
But I was more talking about sending out picks on wasteful things like Fattenburg or a Ryan Carpenter. Even Lazar was a useless trade. None of those are win now trades that required us to send out draft picks.
Jarnkrok was also another example, but I blame Sutter for misusing the player than the trade.
