The Oilers matching two contracts for 2.28 million would mean that they would have 5.473 million for 7 players (781K a player). League minimum is 750K so theoretically they could match on both those guys and run back some version of a lineup for the other 4 forwards playing each night. Otherwise they are trying to move one of Ceci, McLeod or Kulak. Ceci they would have to attach an asset to and the other two they could probably move for 3rd round pick or so.
Players they could not sign under really any circumstance if they matched on Broberg and Holloway would be
Foegele
Brown
Henrique
Janmark
Desharnais
You may be correct that they would match both but I highly doubt they would. I suspect most teams would take either Broberg or Holloway for a 3rd round pick.
If Florida matched they would have 15.43 million to sign 8 players (1.92 million a player). They would have the following players to sign or replace
Ekmann Larson
Montour
Kulikov
Reinhart
Tarasenko
I agree that Florida would almost certainly match and then probably try to get somethign for Knight but it would be highly unlikely that the Oilers would match both.
