As per CP HVAC expert EVERLAST, I go with the cheap filters. I have a nat. gas furnace and like everbody else, it does spread the dust everywhere. Hot water, boiler heat is the cleanest and healthiest I think.

It's just shocking how much dust can accumulate in such a short period of time. In my utility room where my furnace/hot water tank and storage is, I don't have any dust.
