Unfortunately the cup doesn't come with him in this trade. Say what you want about PLD but he's going to immediately be one of their best forwards for better or worse and it appears they are still trying to win with OV. The Capitals look to be heading down the road of the Flames in the coming years so by the back half of his contract it won't matter much for a team that's very likely rebuilding.
