But, in this case, I stand by what I said in that post. "Lottery protected" is too ambiguous, and the actual trade conditions should specify exactly what it means. When you look at the other conditions on the Montreal trade, they really only make sense if the Florida pick is top-10 protected. Also of note, on Puckpedia, it does show the condition as top-10 protection.
I don't remember that radio interview with Treliving and it's probably not online anywhere anymore.
