What I think they should do:
- Sign UFAs to 1 or 2 year deals so you can flip them at the deadline.
- Take on salary/"bad contracts" in trades, with the plan to retain when you trade them at the deadline for more than they cost you.
What I think they will do:
- Offer 7yr deals to a couple of 28-30yr olds, and overpay to get them to come here.
