That’s where I don’t get. Metal pipe is easy to inspect. Magnetic flux vertilog stuff is pricy but can be done but there is always an interruption Of service. You probably actually have to probably walk through this pipe. Multiple materials? What a nightmare. Concrete as a material for pipeline is nuts to me, but it’s fresh water so I guess. It’s porous and permeable as hell. Some steel and poly and some Yellowjacket, concrete and random wire wrapped around it for the second most important line in the city. That’s definitely a 2/4 on the risk matrix. Haha.

I think the AER would actually shoot me in the face if we excavated pipe and it looked like that. But maybe that’s Normal fresh water normal.
