I would imagine a couple of desperate teams would but most smart organizations would certainly not. I saw some post a few weeks back where over their careers to date Gardner Minshew has started 49 games and Lawrence 50 games and Minshew has thrown more TD passes, considerably less INT's and and has a higher QB rating. Now I'm not saying Minshew is better or even a legit starter in this league but if that's the case then this contract doesn't look overly great.
