Look at the ANA, SJ, and CHI rosters from this season. Now look at the Flames’ roster for next season. Between the vets on the roster (Kadri, Backlund, Kuzmenko, Sharangovich, Coleman, Weegar, Anderson), and younger players ready to take a next step (Zary, Pospisil, Coronato, Pelletier) it’s not a playoff team, but it’s not bottom-five either. And I do think they’ll pick up a couple decent UFAs.

Let’s not forget the Flames were completely healthy last year - and most of the last few years
An injury or 2 and this team is easily bottom 5. I personally think they already are and can easily be bottom 3 next year
