Someone posted the goalie stats during that span and Markstrom was awful - much worse than Wolf or Vladar. If Wolf and Vladar play like they did in that span, the Flames’ record will likely be worse than the first half of the season, but not as bad as the last 21 games.
Look at the ANA, SJ, and CHI rosters from this season. Now look at the Flames’ roster for next season. Between the vets on the roster (Kadri, Backlund, Kuzmenko, Sharangovich, Coleman, Weegar, Anderson), and younger players ready to take a next step (Zary, Pospisil, Coronato, Pelletier) it’s not a playoff team, but it’s not bottom-five either. And I do think they’ll pick up a couple decent UFAs.
