Sometimes players just don't play well. I think Lindholm's problems have mopre to do with not having Tkachuk and Gaudreau, who he meshed with. Hell, maybe the same can be said for Huberdeau with his former Panther guys.
Trying to figure psychological reasons is a mugs game and ignores more obvious reasons.
